Seal Rocks
Dolphin and whales ply the seas just off the Great Lakes coast during their twice yearly migrations. Watch for them from Sugarloaf Point and enjoy the view which stretches south along Myall Lakes National Park's coast to Hawks Nest and north to Pacific Palms.Look out for the seals that occasionally bask on offshore rocks and which give the place its name. Divers will notice plenty of grey nurse sharks in the area as vast underwater caverns beneath Sugarloaf Point provide nurseries for their young. With great scuba diving, fabulous surf and beach fishing and entrance via an unsealed road, Seal Rocks is an uncrowded destination for anglers, divers and bushwalkers.
